LONDON (17th March 2014) – GolinHarris, PR Week’s Consultancy of The Year 2013 and member of the Interpublic Group of Companies (NYSE: IPG), has today announced the appointment of Lucy Hart as the new head of its award-winning consumer practice. Hart joins GH from Frank and will report directly to Matt Neale, president, international. Lucy will be responsible for the day to day practice leadership, senior client relations, business development and furthering GH’s reputation as an industry innovator.
“Our consumer team is world-class, boasting year-on-year growth rates of more than 20% in recent years and attracting new clients including Cadbury, William Hill and lastminute.com,” said Neale. “The practice has flourished under the stellar leadership of Bibi Hilton, but following her 2012 promotion to deputy MD, Bibi’s responsibility for the overall UK business now demands more of her time. Bibi and Lucy will form a formidable team, heralding an exciting new era for the practice and its work.”
Lucy has spent the last seven years at Frank PR – a board director for the last two – demonstrating leadership on clients such as Danone and proving equally adept at the operational side of agency life. Over a 12 year career she has worked on brands from Cow and Gate through to Grolsch and Disney building a stellar reputation for excellent client counsel and consistently high delivery. She has also spent time at Text 100 with an early role in radio at Juice FM, Liverpool.
“I have long been a fan of the bravery of GolinHarris in building an agency for the future and the inspiration it provides to the wider industry,” commented Hart. “As a natural born PR with a love of big brands I can’t think of a better opportunity than leading the exemplary GH consumer practice to even greater success in 2014 and beyond.”
